Bec supporte Lleyton lors du deuxième tour de l'Open d'Australie :

Dans le woman's day de cette semaine, une dispute entre bec et kim est évoquée est-ce que quelqu'un a entendu quelque chose à ce sujet?? (voir woman'sday.ninemsn.com.au)

C juste une phrase de Clijsters qui a été repris dans les média, qui en gros dirait que Bec et Mia ont enterré la carrière de lleyton.

A prendre avec beaucoup de recul sachant que c une phrase volé monté en épingle par les médias.
Perso je pense que les deux femmes se contre fiche de ce que pense l'autre, elle sont toutes les deux heureuses de leurs cotés. Comme justine n'est pas là, ils fallait trouver quelqu'un d'autre avec qui CLijsters pourrait se facher

Voici pour clore la polémique la phrase exacte de Kim “[Lleyton] has a baby now and is married, and that automatically takes away a bit of focus on the sport,” she said.

Elle dit juste que la vie de famille fait automatiquement que l'on est moins concentré sur son sport.

Das cet interview elle évoque aussi les raison de leur séparation, la pression de leur famille, mais surtout ce qu'il y a autour du tennis à savoir les blessures, la pression et la séparation ont fait que keur relation c détériorer.
Vu la surprise de lleyton lors de la séparation la détérioration devait être plus d'un coté que de l'autre. lol!!!!!!!!!!

Bec's heartache

The young mum and her husband are battling through some troubled times.

Bec Hewitt is facing one of the toughest challenges of her marriage to date. Her husband Lleyton has endured a barrage of criticism and bitter fights with his once-close entourage, while she's seen her own career efforts criticised. And, adding insult to injury, Lleyton's ex appears to have launched an unprovoked attack on the former Home And Away star.

Although her marriage to tennis star Lleyton and her gorgeous daughter Mia have given Bec some of the happiest moments of her life, the young mum has been left devastated by the latest attacks on her family.

Her husband has been making headlines for problems with his game and bitter battles with associates, including his former manager Rob Aivatoglou and long-time coach Roger Rasheed.

Aivatoglou was questioned by police over fraud allegations involving his former client, while Rasheed resigned suddenly after a bitter blow-up with Lleyton- in which the pair reportedly exchanged a series of verbal barbs.

“Within the current environment, I don’t believe it is possible for us to get the results we are looking for,” said Rasheed of his sudden decision to quit.

Admitting, he was shocked by the timing, Lleyton responded, “ A lot of people talked about my game changing and that maybe Roger wasn’t the best coach for me,” adding that he considered himself 80 percent fit and that he still had what it takes to win.

Ex-Fiancée’s taunts

Bec has been rattled by the negative publicity surrounding her husband, but tries to remain upbeat and supportive, telling Woman’s Day, It is a bit frustrating for Lleyton with his injuries – as it is for any athlete - but he’s done all that he can to ensure he’s in the best condition he can be.”

However, she has admitted to friends she’s hurt by a veiled attack launched on her recently by Lleyton’s ex-fiancée Kim Clijsters, who suggested Bec and Mia may be to blame for Lleyton’s slump.

The Belgian player said the pressures of family life and a lack of match play had caused her former lover’s game to deteriorate.

“[Lleyton] has a baby now and is married, and that automatically takes away a bit of focus on the sport,” she said.
Worse, in what seemed a cheap shot at Bec, she added “Tennis is not celebrity for me, it is sport. I am not the girl who does the photo shoots. I like to be at home. I am a housewife who likes to cook and look after my dogs.”

It was the last straw for Bec, who gave up a successful acting career to support her husband.

“Bec hates people thinking Lleyton’s current problems have anything to do with her,” says a close friend. “She’s made lots of sacrifices to keep her family together and she is deeply hurt by insinuations that Lleyton’s career isn’t a top priority for both of them.”

Constant long-haul flights and changes in time zones have been difficult to manage with a baby, but Bec is committed to accompanying Lleyton around the world.

“I love being with Lleyton and would miss him so much if I didn’t see him everyday,” she says.

Her dedication to Lleyton has come at a career price. The popular actress and Dancing with the Stars champ was at the pinnacle of her career when she took time out to have a family, saying, ”It’s difficult for me to commit to anything.”

She hosted TV’s AbbaMania last year, but has been forced to turn down most offers. In another blow, Bec, who won the 2005 TV WEEK Logie for Most Popular Actress, drew mixed reviews for her performance. Melbourne’s Herald Sun cruelly suggested she “stick to motherhood”, while some chatroom comments described her as “wooden” and “out of her league”.

“Bec is the sweetest girl, total unaffected by her fame and money,” says a close friend. “It’s so cruel to see her being sniped at in this way.”

“Bec could walk straight into a top role in an Aussie Drama tomorrow,” adds an industry insider. “She’s young and has plenty of time to make a comeback if that’s what she wants.”

But Bec is determined to stay strong for husband and is focusing her energy on his battle to get back on top. The coming months are being seen as make-or-break for the injury-plagued player, who many have been quick to criticise.

Lleyton Cops It

“You can’t have all this stuff going on in your life- of sacking managers, coaches walking out, lawsuits here and lawsuits there- and really have energy left to focus on playing your best tennis,” Aussie tennis star Todd Woodbridge told The Adelaide Advertiser.

“I hate writing Lleyton off,” Pat Cash told The Sydney Morning Herald, “but I don’t think we should expect an awful lot from him.”

Commentator Allan Stone is more positive “Lleyton often plays his best when things are at their toughest. It’s motivation for him when he feels he’s got to battle against everything”

During this tumultuous time, Lleyton will no doubt be taking comfort from his wife and daughter. As he recently, “We love being a little family, Bec, myself, and Mia. It really puts tennis and life into perspective. Now family is my number one priority.”

ONE of the women who knows Lleyton Hewitt best - his former fiancee Kim Clijsters - believes he can dig himself out of his current crisis and be a force at the Australian Open.

Clijsters, who broke off her engagement to Hewitt in 2004, arrived in Sydney yesterday declaring she believes Hewitt has the strength of character to ensure the latest series of setbacks will not up-end his preparations for the grand slam he would most love to win.

"I don't know what happened at all so it is best for me to stay out of those things," she said. "But I do know he will always have that fight . . . that is his personality.

"And there is no doubt in my mind that he is still capable of having a big Australian Open."

Clijsters, just 23 but planning to retire at the end of this year, is engaged to American basketballer Brian Lynch.

She believes it is inevitable that family life has effected Hewitt's priorities.

"With him being married now and having a baby, automatically that is going to take away a little bit of the focus," the Belgian said.

"But he is a very, very talented tennis player and I think he has been very unlucky with injuries and every time it sets him back a bit.

"He needs to play a lot of matches and he hasn't always been able to do that."

Clijsters looms as one of the major contenders for the first grand slam of the year and was impressive in downing maria Sharapova 6-3 7-6 to win in Hong Kong last week.

comme vous le savez peut etre bec joue (ou en tt cas jouait) dans une série australienne qui s'apelle Home And Away cette série est diffusée sur france 3 depuis peu à 16h25 sous le nom de Summer Bay

oui et d'ici 50 épisodes, enfin si la diffusion va jusque la on pourra voir l'épisode dans lequel lleyton joue 2 scenes.

J'ai regrdé aujourd'hui pour la première fois, c'était "le retour de gus", et il ne jouait pas dedans je t'assure .
Si je me souviens bien, la série a commencé à être jouée en australie en 1998... et lleyton a participé en 2005! Mais, à voir la tête de bec et les vêtement des autres acteurs, les épisodes qui passent maintenant datent de bien après 1998. Vu que Beau Brady n'est plus dedans, cela date d'après ses fiançailles d'avec lleyton, donc début 2005...
Selon moi, et comme le dit Pilou, d'ici quelques mois, l'épisode de lleyton devrait passer sur France 3.

Bec est dans le woman's day de cette semaine. J'espère que l'on pourra voir les photos, il y en a d'elle et de mia, je ne sais pas s'il y en a de lleyton.
On a pas eu droit à Summer bay aujourd'hui Lucky luke aurait-il plus de succès que la petite série australienne à l'eau de rose ??

Bec tells: Australia will always be home

Bec talks about how she’s adapting to her every-changing life on the road with a growing toddler and a tennis star hubby

Tricky toddler

Q. Mia is looking so big now, she must be heaps of fun. What are her latest favourite tricks? And does she have many accidents or bumps and bruises now that she’s running around?

A. In some ways I find it easier now Mia is walking (and my back does too), because when they’re at the age of wanting to be able to walk but not able to do it by themselves you’re forever bending over holding their little hands, letting them take you wherever they want to go.

But being so mobile does mean lots of running around. We’ve been pretty lucky so far with bumps and things, but the first thing I do whenever we arrive in a new hotel room is “babyproof” it. I remove any breakables and dangerous items and block off fireplaces etc.

As for new tricks, it seems she learns something new every day. She knows all her animal sounds and colours, and loves trying new words. Each day when Lleyton arrives home from tennis, Mia shows him the things she’s learnt that day. And she’s so proud, too!

Going vego

Q. I’m thinking about becoming a vegetarian, and remembered you don’t eat meat. Has your diet changed since becoming a mum or do you still stick to lots of fruits and vegetables? Do you ever crave a steak? Is it hard having to prepare meals with meat in them for Lleyton and Mia?

A. I can honestly say I never crave a steak as other people may. I just don’t like the taste or texture of meat. However, I know it’s important to eat meat for iron so I try to have a little bit every now and then. But I’m usually pretty fussy when it comes to eating it. I don’t like any chewy bits and it needs to be very well done and smothered in gravy.

As for preparing meals for the whole family, Lleyton and I have a lot of barbecues at home. I take care of the salads and potatoes inside, and Lleyton is great on the barbecue outside. Mia absolutely loves her skinless sausages, which I’m pleased about. So at this stage I don’t think she’ll grow up as fussy as I am. She’s a good eater and will try quite a lot these days. Her two favourite foods (besides fruit) are probably chicken and yoghurt.

Learning curve

Q. Do you keep in touch with many of your TV celebrity friends these days? Or do you find you spend more time with the tennis crowd? Have you had to learn heaps about tennis to keep up with what everyone is talking about?

A. With all the travelling I do I don’t get to spend a lot of time with my friends back home, but I make sure I see them in between each trip and always keep in contact whenever I’m away. I’ve also met some nice people on the tennis tour. Some of the other players’ wives are really lovely and Mia just loves playing with the other kids at the tennis courts.

It can be a little difficult sometimes – it’s such an international sport, so with some people there is a language barrier. Speaking of which, after spending some time in French-speaking places (Belgium and Marseille) recently, Mia now says “au revoir” and I’ve picked up a few French-speaking toys for her to play with. A nice head-start I guess.

As for learning more about tennis, I have come a long way. When I first met Lleyton I didn’t know of any other players on the tour and had no idea on the game. Especially the scoring. Now I find myself explaining it to friends I take along to watch his matches. I love tennis as a sport. It’s a great game to watch and quite often can have you on the edge of your seat!

Settling down

Q. Is it getting harder to do so much travelling now that Mia is a bit older? Will you have to start leaving her in Australia with her grandparents when you go on the road with Lleyton, or will you need to buy a home base for yourself in the United States as some of the other Aussie tennis players have done?

A. Mia is great to travel with. We feel very proud of her and the way she handles all the changes and would never even consider leaving her behind. We’d miss her far too much!

The toughest part now is the plane flights. She just chooses not to sleep. From Australia to Belgium she thought three hours was enough, and from Holland to Las Vegas she thought 20 minutes was enough. But having said that, she doesn’t carry on. She’s just excited and busy walking up and down the aisles and chatting to the flight attendants. Her toys aren’t even very interesting to her.

Food, however, has become much easier now that she can eat everything we do. It was very difficult when she was on pureed food only, but now I can order her a sandwich or just grab a banana if we’re out and about.

And as for basing ourselves in the US, we love Australia too much and, although it means a lot of travel, it’s worth it. It’s always so nice to be home and to see all our friends and family, especially now that little Mia is growing so quickly. So we try to get back to Australia as much as possible.

BEC'S LONELY LIFE - I'M HUNGRY FOR LOVE
Trying to hang on to romance and her marriage in full public view is taking its toll on Bec Hewitt. While Lleyton is finally finding form on the court, Bec is miserable after missing her best friend Ada Nicodemou's wedding and has turned to wandering aimlessly through the casinos and shopping malls of Las Vegas as well as surfing internet chat rooms.
